Every year, each Mooncup team member is given a share of the Mooncup funds to donate to a charity of their choice. Su, Managing Director, explains her choice here:

“Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting, affecting speech, movement, eating, drinking and breathing. Unfortunately no cure has yet been found. I would like my donation to go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of my partner’s mother ‘Nanny Et’ who died in last July and very sadly lost a son to the disease 5 years ago. MNDA is a national charity focused on MND care, research and campaigning. See here for more info: www.mndassociation.org
