Simon and The Clock Tower Sanctuary
Every year, each Mooncup team member is given a share of the Mooncup funds to donate to a charity of their choice. Simon, Mooncup’s Quality Systems Manager, explains his choice here:
As I have walked up and down the London Road to and from work over the last year, I have seen so many homeless young people on the streets in desperate need of help and direction. The Clock Tower Sanctuary provides a client-centred advice and centre for 16-25 year old homeless or insecurely housed people. Since 1997, The Clock Tower Sanctuary have helped thousands of vulnerable young people – offering a welcoming and friendly safe space, free food and drink, free donated clothing, access to computers and the internet, signposting to housing, health, education, employment and social services – as well as practical and emotional support. I would like to support this charity to achieve what they are trying to do.
