Kath and the Young People’s Centre
Every year, each Mooncup team member is given a share of the Mooncup funds to donate to a charity of their choice. Kath Clements, Mooncup’s Marketing Manager, explains her choice here:
“This year, I was keen to donate my part of the Mooncup booty to a local, grassroots project that’s truly making a difference: The Young People’s Centre. The Young People’s Centre, which is part of Impact Initiatives, is a free space for young people- “ like another home providing support and help [from sexual health advice to health cooking to counselling]- everything!” . My admiration for their work is only surpassed by that which I have for the young people themselves: for having the sense, strength and humility to know that they need support and where to go for help. Brilliant”.
