Irene and Look Good…Feel Better
Every year, each Mooncup team member is given a share of the Mooncup funds to donate to a charity of their choice. Irene Elliott, Mooncup Advisor and Research Officer, explains her choice here:
“This year my chosen charity is ‘Look Good Feel Better’. Look Good Feel Better are the only international cancer support charity, providing practical and effective, free services for women and teenagers suffering from the visible side effects from cancer treatment. They offer workshops, toolkits and advice on skin care, make-up, wig choices, scarf tying among other things. Their aim is to improve the self-confidence and wellbeing of women undergoing cancer treatment. They do an amazing worthwhile job and their service means a lot to women who are undergoing treatment for cancer”.
