Dear Mooncup, I would just like to thank you for your fabulous product. I am DELIGHTED with it and cannot wait for my next period - all my friends are sick of me ranting and raving about my lovely Mooncup! Once I got to grips with the insertion I was amazed how easy and pleasant the Mooncup is in almost every way, and your staff at the Advice Centre are swift to respond and very helpful. It's also a relief to know that even if I have a moment where I become convinced it's never going to come out again, there's no rush because it's perfectly safe, so I can just sit back, take a few deep breaths and try again in a bit. So thank you, Mooncup. You're super!

I bought a mooncup a few months ago and it has revolutionised my life. I know that sounds extreme, but it really has. I travel a lot and had very irregular periods. Now, I just pack the mooncup and, if I think my period might be coming, I can insert it and relax. It's worth it for that alone, but if you want the icing on the cake... I haven't had a single 'leakage' problem since using it and in addition, my periods have for the first time in twenty years, regulated themselves. To know that I will now have no worries when I have my period is simply fantastic. On a practical note for those who might be unsure as to whether to get one: The first few times I used it I did find it awkward but the telephone line was a lifesaver. Really friendly woman who was practical and helfpul. I persevered. You do need to get a bit more 'hands on' than with a tampon but you get used to it really quickly and it is worth being more hands on to have no worries about knickers, sheets, or running out of tampax / not being near a loo. Please, please try one. You will never go back to tampons again.

I would like to pay a huge compliment to the customer care offered with this product… The first time I used it I had a bit of a trouble getting the Mooncup out as I had cut the stem too short (although now with correct use I realise this doesn’t even matter) and couldn’t get a grip on anything. It wasn’t so pleasant thinking it was stuck and after a quite a while of mis-guided trying I had definitely got myself into a panic. So I sent a bit of an alarmed email and received a reply almost immediately. I wasn’t at the computer again for a while but because I hadn’t replied to say it was ok there had been 3 emails sent to check I was alright and a personal number given to call at any time for help. This is a very impressive approach to customer care, so refreshing to find non- automated, first hand advice, it was approached in a very caring way which is also maybe reflected in the nature of the product which I think is a wonderfully liberating as well as conscientious one to use. And the advice was exactly correct; by first of all relaxing then bearing down and pushing 2/3 times the suction was loosened and I had no problems getting it out in fact now I find it easy but without this advice and a bit of experimenting I would have definitely had trouble. (Maybe it might be worth it in future adding a bit more information on this case into the leaflet, as it doesn't really cover it) I also feel the need to sing from the mountain tops about how great it is and agree with the comment about how beautiful my blood seems to me as I now have the chance to see it making beautiful patterns as it mixes with the water in the bowl…I have a new relationship with menstruations and AT LAST IT’S A GOOD ONE. Thanks again from a very happy customer

I have been using the Mooncup with great success for approximately 2 years now. I suffer with both PCOS and endometriosis, which made my periods challenging in many different ways! My uterus is also slightly retroverted and my cervix differs substantially from most usual positions found. I struggled a little at first with insertion and especially removal(I do a great line in panicking!).I rang the helpline and quite easily removed it with a a little guidance from the helpful staff. I was a little reticent to use it when my next period came, but decided that £20 spent without at least one more try would be wasteful. This time was very successful and I am pleased to say that this is the most innovative product I have ever tried. If it is possible to look forward to Aunty Flo's visit, then this comes as close as it gets! No leaks, less pain and more convenience. Who needs to carry spares when it is already in your body doing it's job time after time? Real female staff answer the telephone after a couple of rings. There are no transferring to departments, none of the annoying "press 1 to hear this advice, press 2 to speak to an adviser" etc etc. I had stupidly lost my little protective case and asked where/whether I could buy another. No problems, no hassle, even though my cup is two years old-a replacement arrived very quickly without any fuss or complaint. Real, old-fashioned customer service from a company that really does seem to care about women and their product. A product that looks set to revolutionise women's lives forever and for the better. My friends consistently say "ewwwww" each time I try to convert them, but I'll give them a few years...I predict this product to become the norm. Now to get my 14 year old to try one. Now there's a real challenge!

I've been using the Mooncup for a few months now, and I love it. I did have quite a few problems with it at first, mainly with removal - I panicked a few times that I wouldn't be able to get it out again! But with helpful advice from Cathy, the Mooncup nurse, and learning the methods that worked for me (and cutting the stem off completely once I'd made sure I had a reliable removal method), I've now cracked it! It's so convenient - I keep it in my handbag when the time for my period approaches, and there's no faffing about buying tampons (great as I'm on a budget), putting them in your bag, hiding them when you go to the loo, worrying how long they've been in, whether you remembered to remove the last one before inserting the next if your mind's a bit elsewhere as mine often is, worrying about leaks blah blah. Just remove the Mooncup, pour away the blood, quick rinse and re-insert. I can't feel it at all once it's in, it's fantastic for swimming (no more soggy tampons) and I feel so much healthier and more in touch with my body. I look forward to many happy Mooncup-using years!

Hi Cathy, thanks so much for the advice and the quick reply! It's certainly getting better with more and more practice and the advice you gave me worked a treat. I'm surprised by how quickly I've become used to the mooncup and how good it is! I've heard about all the cancer-causing dioxins in tampons and thought my body and the environment could do without! And (sorry for sounding like an advert) but I'm so so pleased with this product and it's so nice to not have to be burdened with tampons and sanitary towels. i wore it to school today and normally i have to wear super plus tampons PLUS sanitary towels but today i wore just a mooncup and a pantyliner and that lasted me the whole day. YAY!! I'm telling my mum and sisters about this gem. Thanks again.

I bought a mooncup two months ago after having been considering it for some time. The first time I used it I found it painful to remove despite following all the instructions given so I contacted you and you sent further and more helpful information. I have just finished using it for the second week and, having been slightly worrried about the same removal problems occuring again, I would just like to reassure anyone who has the same problem that it gets much easier and is now pain-free! I now only find myself needing to change it twice a day, compared to tampons which I was constantly changing! Since it is environmentally friendly i no longer feel guilty about filling up landfills with horried tampons. Also, I had never before realised how much tampons dry you out - thankfully from now on I will never need to use another one ever! i have definatly been converted! THANK YOU!!

It took me a little while to get used to the 'mooncup' and I have to say that the advice that I received from a mooncup representative was fantastic. I have now successfully, comfortably and confidently been using my cup for over a year. It has proved to be indispensable especially when I have been attending music festivals (I always seem to be on my period at these times!). I am sooo glad that my friend told me about the 'Mooncup' and I now make sure that I tell all my friends about it. It truly is amazing.

Hi, I live in Australia and had never heard of the mooncup before or any of it's copycat alternatives that are available out there either. I stumbled on it somewhere on the net recently. I am 50, very fit and active and probably pre-menopausal - but all my life I have hated (and suffered) with a vengeance the menstrual side of being a woman. To top it all off my best friend once almost died from TSS making me always cautious and tentative, never fully relaxing whenever I've used tampons. I would like to thank you for changing all that ....well, at least it's bearable now. I may have only 5 months or another 15 years of menstruating left in my life but at least now it's easier, carefree and certainly stressfree! I can't believe how simply and effective it is! I can't feel a thing when it's inserted ( I had to cut off three quarters of the stem.) I also have a retreverted uterus that causes my vagina to do a bit of a flip flop, and so my mooncup tends to travel upwards a bit , but that's not a problem. Your instructions and emphasis on relaxation are very accurate and helpful. Please feel free to include this letter with your other testimonials.

My menstrual flow changes from very light to very heavy, and back to light again, with the changes occuring very abruptly. With the Mooncup I no longer have to worry about which size tampon to use at which time to avoid leaks or risk TSS. The Mooncup is especially great with the light flow when even a small tampon would not be saturated. It's also great that you can use it in anticipation of your period (unlike a tampon). Lastly, the advice centre is fantastic- personal replies, not set answers.

Thanks very much for the advice! It was really helpful and it's got a lot better with practice. I didn't want to go back to the old ways so I was really relieved!!! Thanks for being so helpful, I 'll keep trying to win people round to the mooncup! Cheers
